RFF 052 and RFF 054 False Plates

for 1-inch Products Installation Guide

The Extron® False Plates for 1-inch Products increase the face height of 1-inch tall,

quarter rack width (RFF 054) or half rack width (RFF 052) products to full single rack unit

height (1U), aiding airﬂow management and aesthetics. Install plates as follows:

1. Clean the 1-inch tall Extron device to be rack mounted of any dust or debris.

2. Remove the protective ﬁlm from the adhesive tape on the RFF 052 or RFF 054.

3. Align the plate on the top of the device so that the adhesive faces the device and the

raised side runs ﬂush with the front panel of the device.

4. Firmly press the plate onto the device.

5. Install the 1-inch tall device to the rack shelf.
